I just wanted to say I love this blog as a resource! Since the pandemic I’ve been walking in Douglas Park almost daily since mid-March. Now it is early May, and the transformation has been astounding. I’ve learned so much about the wildlife there—seeing bluebirds, black-crowned night heron, great blue heron, what I believe were kinglets, and so much more. I’ve started cleaning up trash as well as syringes and other detritus. Thank you for providing this educational info—I appreciate it.
